Authentication

Calls from you to Titan

  • Send your API key in the Authorization header of every request. Titan gives you the API key during onboarding. Only you and Titan know it.
  • IP whitelist (recommended): Give Titan the IP addresses of the servers that call the Titan APIs. You can give single IPv4 or IPv6 addresses, or ranges in CIDR format (for example 203.0.113.0/24). Titan then processes only the calls from these addresses. A call from any other address gets FORBIDDEN (403). If you give no addresses, Titan processes calls from all addresses.

Sample Header

POST https://bll.titan.email/<API_ROUTE> HTTP/1.1
Authorization: API.Key

Titan gives the API.Key to the partner during onboarding.

Example: Titan gives the partner this API.Key: 123456abcdefgh-
The header is then:
POST https://bll.titan.email/partner/createMailOrder HTTP/1.1
Authorization: 123456abcdefgh-

Calls from Titan to you (webhooks)

  • Titan sends the same API key in the Authorization header of each call to your servers. Before you process a call, make sure that it has a valid API key.
  • Whitelist these Titan IP addresses: 3.92.40.244, 34.197.244.225, 52.7.187.26 and 3.64.226.220.
